Music.
The house has two apple home speakers. The one in the living room next to the TV takes voice commands, say “Hey Siri, play The Beatles” and she’ll play whatever you ask. You can say “Hey Siri turn up or turn down the volume” or Hey Siri “Stop” and she’ll stop playing music. Turntable upstairs, pretty self explanatory.
Bears & Trash.
Bag up and put in the dumpster out front. If the dumpster is full, put your trash in the shed on the left side of house, be sure to lock the shed door. All trash has to be inside or in dumpster or the bears will get it. You know what they say, “a fed bear is a dead bear”, don’t feed’em.
Coffee.
The Nespresso coffee machine is in the tall cabinets to right of oven (so is the toaster if you were wondering). There are pods in the plastic container to the right of the machine and plenty more pods under the island (far right cabinets under the bar stools). Power on using silver button on top. Put in a pod and push down lever. Turn silver knob to indicate what kind of coffee pour you’ like — it will signal you to steam the milk for a latte, flat white or cappuccino. Add water to back chamber if it’s getting low. Milk steamer tin is usually to left of machine or in the dishwasher.
Booze.
There’s a heap off top-shelf alcohol in the lower cabinet under the tall cabs (to right of oven). More booze is in the drawers to right of oven. Red wine lives in the tall cabinets at the very top. White wine, bubbly, beer and mixers are in the small fridge under the island. The fridge in basement sometimes has overflow beer as well.
Drink anything!
Bites & Grill.
Eat anything you want, it’s typically a pretty random selection of foods. It could be that there’s no food but a sh*tload of condiments, that would not be surprising. The big red Kamodo Joe grill is outside on the upper deck. There’s charcoal on the side of the deck and plenty of clickers in the silverware drawers. There are charcoal starters in the drawer to right of the sink, far right cabinet, in red and white box (they help ignite the charcoal if needed).
Fireplaces.
Both fireplaces are remote operated, black remote powers the front door FP and silver remote operated the living room FP. Press the top button once and wait a second, it WILL turn on. Hit same button to turn it off. Enjoy.
TV.
Use the skinny Samsung remote to turn the TV on — you’ll see all the apps for Netflix, Hulu, etc, all are logged into our accounts. You can run off ours, no need to log-in to your personal accts. Use the fat 1990’s Spectrum remote to switch the cable channels, use the guide and access on demand. The remotes are typically sitting on the shelves next to the couch.
Beds & Bath.
All sheets are clean and bedrooms ready for guests. Towels are clean in each bedroom. There are extra towels by the washer and dryer if you need. All bathrooms have hair & body wash products for you to use. There’s a hair dryer in the 1st basket under the sink in the master bathroom.
Hope you like the product selection!
Lake & Dock.
Use any of the lake toys tied to or next to our dock. There’s a canoe, two stand up paddle boards and a pedal boat. Toodle around the lake day or night. Bundle up for a nigh time canoe or pedal, bring and drink and/or toke and enjoy the stargazing. There's a stack of yellow and white striped towels to use on decks and lakeside (next the to washer).
Firepit.
There’s a firepitt stove outside the door by the washer/dryer and plenty of logs up by the driveway. Light her up and hang out with a drink and s’mores fixings if ya want. If it’s chilly, there are two outside blankets on top of the dryer. A black and white one and an orange printed one. Bring them out with you and burrito up.
Outside Lights.
There are light switches on either side of the living room slider doors. The switches to the right turn on the gooseneck lights. The switch by the left side slider turns on the deck railing lights. Remember to turn off all lights outside and in the living room before bed or the lights will keep you up if you’re sleeping in the master bedroom.
